Instructions for authors

The mission of The Annals of „Vasile Conta” High School Târgu-Neamț, History Series, the official publication of the "Vasile Conta" High School, is to publish new scientific contributions into the field of history and related sciences. Manuscripts cannot have been previously published or be currently submitted elsewhere for publication while in review for publication in our journal. Manuscripts that are derived from papers presented at conferences can be submitted unless they have been published as part of the conference proceedings in a journal. Authors are required to ensure that no material submitted as part of a manuscript infringes existing copyrights, or the rights of a third party. The submitting author takes responsibility for the article during submission and peer review. Submission of a manuscript to The Annals of „Vasile Conta” High School implies that all authors have read and agreed to its content.

Misiunea Analele Liceului „Vasile Conta” Târgu-Neamț, seria Istorie, publicație oficială a Liceului „Vasile Conta” Târgu-Neamț, este de a publica noi contribuții științifice în domeniul istoriei și a științelor conexe acesteia. Manuscrisele nu pot fi publicate anterior sau prezentate în altă parte pentru a fi publicate în timp ce sunt analizate pentru publicare în revista noastră. Manuscrisele care provin din lucrările prezentate la conferințe pot fi depuse dacă nu au fost publicate ca parte a lucrărilor conferinței într-un volum al acesteia. Autorii sunt obligați să se asigure că niciun material prezentat ca parte a unui manuscris nu încalcă drepturile de autor existente sau drepturile unei terțe părți. Autorul care depune își asumă responsabilitatea pentru articol în timpul trimiterii și revizuirii. Prezentarea unui manuscris către Analele Liceului „Vasile Conta” Târgu-Neamț, seria Istorie implică faptul că toți autorii au citit și au fost de acord cu conținutul acestuia.

Preventing and combating plagiarism

The Annals of „Vasile Conta” High School Târgu-Neamț, History Series intenționează să prevină și să sancționeze încercările și actele de plagiat. Prin urmare, autorii sunt avertizați că:

- Attempts at plagiarism discovered and documented during the peer review process lead to:

  1. a) rejection of the manuscript for publication;
  2. b) the definitive elimination of the author as a possible future author of the magazine;
  3. c) official information to the higher education unit or research institute where the author is affiliated;
  4. d) information to the scientific community and public opinion.

All the articles presented for publication in the Annals of the “Vasile Conta” High School Tg. German. Series: History will be checked against plagiarism with the help of the application "Plagiarism detector" that allows automatic detection of digital plagiarism, in the sense of unauthorized retrieval with the function "copy-paste" of a text, using Internet search engines Google and Yahoo.

Article / study evaluation grid:

 conciseness and informative nature of the title;

 scientific substantiation and relevance of the information communicated through the respective article;

 article structure (summary, keywords, introduction, content, conclusions);

 clarity, conciseness and accuracy of the article text;

 accessibility and understanding of assertions;

 relevance and usefulness of research;

 emphasis on results, interpretations and conclusions (level of creativity).

For number 1 the final works will be received by April 25; până pe 25 aprilie ;
For number 2 the final works will be received until October 25; până pe 25 octombrie;

ARCHIVING POLICY

The magazine is archived on its own website but also at the legal book deposit within the National Library of Romania, where 6 issues of each issue are sent.
